The Real Palm Springs

IMG_4142

I always forget how much I love the desert until I visit Palm Springs. I am not talking about Palm Desert or the other fancy nearby resort towns, but the vintage Palm Springs. The town is filled with 60 and 70s architecture and style (my favorite), and the warm nights are priceless.

Are you a desert lover?

  4. I will have to visit the vintage Palm Springs - we only did the new resort stuff and not as interesting. We were with kids so couldn't do all the stores, also want to go to the Parker and to estate sales which I'm told are amazing there!

  5. I looooove Palm Springs - and I'm with you, the real Palm Springs, not Cathedral City or Palm Desert. But retro, classic Palm Springs!

  7. I LOVE Palm Springs! Especially this time of year when it's not quite warm in LA, but it's so sunny and nice there. Did you make a trip?? Gabe and I are always talking about going but haven't been in ages.

So I've kind of given up on my blog this week. I'm feeling uninspired. Hopefully I'll find some inspiration soon. ;)

  9. I LOVE Palm Springs!! This is the ultimate destination and ultimate time of year...all the old, vintage parts are the best. So many great boutique hotels to choose from. Sigh. Wanna go.

  12. Since moving to Los Angeles we've been to palm spring about 3 or 4 times, but now it has me wondering if we've been to the retro palm springs you're talking about? Is it different from palm canyon drive? or is that the retro area? I'm confused now (LOL!)
