The Talented Beatrix Potter

Over the weekend, I stumbled upon my favorite childhood book collection while I was in the midst of cleaning my room. Immediately the feeling of nostalgia overcame me as I sat on my bed reading my Beatrix Potter collection. The Tale of Squirrel Nutkin is still my favorite, but The Tale of Peter Rabbit is a close second. (I've always had to go for the less obvious choice when it comes to favorites.) Their perfectly worn covers give them just the right amount of character so I can share them with my children one day. Now that they've been recovered from hiding, I can enjoy Ms. Potter's classics every time I visit the farm.

  3. Ahh Marcie - these are a must for any child's book shelf! My favourite was when Jemima Puddleduck tried on Tom Kitten's clothes. It's always been about the outfit for me!! Haha. Potter was a genius though, truly. Lou x

  6. I think I've only read Peter Rabbit, but I did LOVE that one when I was a kid. How fun that you have the whole collection to pass on to your children one day! The only collection of children's books I still have are the Berenstein Bears. Those were my favorite! Haha.
