Food Friday: Chocolate Chunk Pumpkin Bread

IMG_2741

Trader Joe's does it again! I made this simple and delicious pumpkin bread over the weekend. The prep time was literally 5 minutes. Since I am addicted to dark chocolate, I cut up chunks and added them in the mix. Jimmy and I inhaled the entire loaf in 2 days. Next on my list is banana bread.

  6. Oh how lovely. Pumpkin bread is a big favorite in my family and I love your idea of adding chocolate to it for an even better taste. I'm starting a new linky on my blog called "Sweets for a Saturday" and I'd like to invite you to stop by and link this up. http://sweet-as-sugar-cookies.blogspot.com/2011/01/sweets-for-saturday-1_21.html

  7. Congrats on the monthly feature, and congrats for me checking out your lovely blog. I too like pumpkin and chocolate. I have a great pumpkin/choc cookie recipe. I don't think a loaf of pumpkin bread would last 2 days...good for your will-power! (wink)

    Cheers

  12. Just look how luscious those chunks of dark chocolate are! Eating all of them the whole day would definitely hurt the teeth. But mix it in the pumpkin bread like you did here would be just as heavenly and more chompers-friendly.
