Welcoming Twenty Eleven

Twenty Ten was a year of change. I entered my thirties, started a new job, welcomed a niece and nephew and also lost two of my closest friends - my grandma and grandpa. I even tapped into my creative side and started Lemons and Laundry. Filled with bitter and sweet moments, Twenty Ten was a year where I learned a tremendous amount about myself and navigating the world around me. I am welcoming the adventures of Twenty Eleven with open arms.

  14. Hi honey!!

What beautiful photos today, I loved reading this post. I too lost my grandfather in March of this year and that was hard even though he was 92, he was a lovely man. I am sorry again for your loss.

I am sure 2011 will be a wonderful year for you, I love January 1, I always feel as though anything could happen...ever-positive I know!!! LOL!

Thank you so much for reading my blog this year and for your supportive and lovely comments, I very much appreciate them. To answer your question from the other day, I was actually born in Wales but I have lived in London since I was 6 years old so I know it pretty well and I love it :)

Finally, I love your photos below from the farm at Christmas, they are stunning.

Happy New Year to you and yours Marcie, best wishes for 2011 :) xx

  24. Great photos... and I completely agree about 2010 being a time of change. I also lost my last grandmother, and it effected me much more than I expected...at the moment we are going through her stuff and I have uncovered her love of fashion that I never new she had... I wish she was here to talk to me about it.. but its still nice to see we had more in common than I thought :)
