Product Push: Canon PowerShot

I am not a professional photographer, so I need a good camera that helps me create pretty images as I document my life. I carry my camera everywhere, so a bulky SLR is out of the question, but a lot of point and shoots just don't deliver on quality. Luckily, this dilemma ended on my birthday. My amazing family (and best friend Julia) bought me the Canon PowerShot SD 4500 IS, and it is amazing. Small enough to carry in my purse, this camera has a 10x zoom that takes sharp pictures. I am loving this camera because of its functionality and quality, something that don't always go hand in hand.

Here are a few image I recently shot with my Canon.

  1. I have exactly the same qualifications for a camera -- I MUST be able to tote it everywhere!

  3. Okay so looking at these pictures helps me to see the difference between a mediocre camera and an amazing camera. Your pictures look spectacular! And the chocolate brown color of the camera in the pic is quite beautiful too, huh?

  10. Marcie, this is exactly the post I needed right now. Gabe keeps telling me I need a new camera and I've been dragging my feet, mostly because I don't know what to get! I agree that an SLR is out of the question for me because I take the camera everywhere. Thanks for the info on this one, your pictures look amazing!
