My League

A League of Their Own

My home has been inundated with baseball for weeks. It's been fun, but I am the girl that would rather watch Dottie and Kit play ball in their skirts and All the Way Mae do the splits. Tonight I am happy San Francisco brought it home, but I am equally ecstatic that I get my husband back and A League of Their Own is next on my Netflix cue.

Congratulations San Francisco!

  1. GO GIANTS! I'm so excited! My students are gonna be a little off the hook tomorrow, but it will be worth it. This is an exciting victory . . . although I almost cried listening to the Rangers' coach speak afterwards. I'm such a sucker--I always feel bad for the losers!

  7. Love that movie, but I heard a few weeks ago that Madonna HATED doing that movie. I guess it was shot somewhere near Chicago, and she hated the weather. Just thought that was interesting!

  9. Go Giants! I loved this movie and should put it on my netflix and watch it again soon. How fun that you made it to Gemma's birthday party! Haha, yeah, Gemma and I used to get into lots of mischief when we were together. And Lucia usually seemed to be the butt of our jokes. ;) She was a good sport though. Hope you had fun at home!
