The Moments

Particular moments in life are what we remember. It is the sum of many moments that allow us to look back at an entire year or decade and say "that was spectacular." The bottom line is that special and sweet moments make up a lifetime of happiness. Now, I know we are all swamped in our hectic and busy lives, but let's put some effort and focus on savoring every special moment that comes our way. Before you know it, time will go by and these moments will be all we have left. What moments are you savoring? Email me photos and I will share a few right here on Lemons and Laundry.

A few moments I am savoring.

  14. I love how a quick snapshot can take you back to that same place. the emotions, everything you remember like what music was playing, what you could smell...everything.

  15. Posts like this make me stop in my tracks and think!!! Moments I remember... a lot of them are with the family (even moments I don't remember exactly but I relive through photos - like times with my grandparents when I was little)... my family now, watching my son grow... I try and capture as many of these moments as possible with the camera because memories often fade...

  22. Is that you on that first photo? It's lovely.

Very inspiring post. a reminder that we don't know what tomorrow will bring so enjoy today the "present=gift".

I learned today that my friend and Beli's playdate friend are moving to another city maybe out of the country (venezuela) *sigh* so I'm savoring the moments we share and stories about motherhood and our bicultural life.
