Green Pumpkins

Every year, Jimmy and I pick a Sunday in early October and drive over the hill to find our autumn decorations. This is one of the few times where I pray for misty fog and cold weather. This year the sun was shining bright, but that didn't keep me from wearing my festive flannel shirt and tall boots. After stocking up on gords, dried corn and green pumpkins, I returned home and spent the afternoon decorating. It is time to pull out the cozy blankets, flannel sheets, earl grey tea, and red wine. Let the holiday season begin!

  4. I'm SO ready for fall; unfortunately, Indiana's temperatures are still rolling around in the high 70s! Can't wait to head back to Minnesota for some REAL fall weather.

  13. What a fun trip to the pumpkin patch! I love that you decorate for Fall. I should do more of that this year. Gabe and I didn't make it to the pumpkin patch this weekend, but hopefully going soon. It was so hot here this weekend! I hope it cools down before we go.

  18. I also can not wait for the fall season to hit. The fact that I am still wearing shorts in mid October is kind of a downer. "It's just no good!"
