Vino Amore

Everyone has their favorite drink, and for me it is red wine. I remember watching the episode of I Love Lucy where Lucy crushes wine grapes, and I've been fascinated with it ever since. Unfortunately, I've never had the pleasure of making wine, but I have a few friends who are winemakers and hopefully I will post about this process soon. One of my favorite things to do in the autumn is wine taste. Red wine pairs perfectly with brisk days, and I couldn't be more excited about the start of fall. Luckily, I live in California where we have fantastic wine regions and cold weather is around the corner.

  9. I enjoy wine but haven't developed the taste for really loving it and understanding the elements of a great wine.

A wine tasting would be so much fun and probably a great learning experience for novices like me. Perhaps someday I'll become a refined whino like you :) Great post and yes, Lucille Ball is the best!

    Have a great day Marcie!

  25. I still "I love Lucy"! I remember staying up to catch it on Nick at Nite lmao! I'm not much of an alcoholic drinker, it really doesn't tickle my fancy, but I do drink Bailey's occasionally.

  33. When we lived overseas, my family used make it's own wine. As a kid one of my favourite memories was crushing grapes in my little gum boots and virtually sinking and swimming in crushed grapes! Thanks for the reminder xo
